ST. JOSEPH'S SCHOOL, GREATER NOIDA
Our Father, who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy
name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
O My God, Tam heartily sorry for having offended
You. | hate all my sins, because they offend You, my
God whoareall good, and deserving ofall my love. | Firmly
resolve, with the help of Your grace, to sin no more
and to avoid all occasions of sin.
Oh God, from whom all wisdom, and knowledge
come; help me to do my studies well. Open my mind
to the Truth; make me diligent and constant in the
pursuit of learning. Give me an attentive mind Lord;
keen and alert, so that | can concentrate and grasp my
lessons. Give me an eager mind Lord, to learn
something new every day, and may my aim always
be to know you, O loving and eternal truth.
Enlighten my mind, O Lord, that may understand what
is being taught and retain what I study so that may become
better and wiser. Amen
We give you thanks / almighty God, for all the
benefits / you have showered upon us.
O my God | love you / with my whole heart / and
above all things. Tam heartily sorry for having offended
vou/ because you are so good / and | firmly resolve / not
to offend you any more.
Where the mind is without fear / and the head is held
high; where knowledge is tree; where the world has not
been broken up into fragments / by narrow domestic
walls; where words come out from the depth of truth;
where tireless striving stretches its arms / towards
perfection; where the clear stream of reason / has not lost
its way / into the dreary desert sand of dead habit; where
the mind is led forward by Thee / into ever-widening
thought and action; into that heaven of freedom, my Father /
let my country awake.
Rabindranath Tagore
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me bring love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that | may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love; for itis in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that, we are pardoned
and it is in dving that we are born to eternal life.
St. Francis of Assisi
Dear St. Joseph, pure and gentle,
Guardian of the Saviour Child.
Treading with the Virgin Mother,
Eqypt’s deserts, rough and wild.
Ch. Hail, St. Joseph, spouse of Mary,
Blest above all saints on high.
We pledge to work and serve and study
Rendered with a heart of love
He who rested on thy bosom,
Is by countless saints adore.
Prostrate angels in His presence,
Sing hosannas to their Lord.
Dear St. Joseph, help us master,
As we tread Hirough life's journey.

May we spread love, joy and peace.

All our works with perfection.

To be gracious in loss and win.
With our devotion, with heart and hand,
We love our school, we serve our Land,
Let all our service spread peace and love,
Giving honour and glory to God above.
St. Joseph, our patron so pure and chaste,
We pledge to honour our work with grace.

Guide us to be victorious youth
When we work and serve in love.
In His time, in His time,
He makes all things beautiful in His time;
Lord, please show me every day
As you're teaching me your way,
That you do just what you say in your time.
In your time, in your time,
You make all things beautiful in your time,
Lord, my lite to you I bring, with its winter and its spring,
May | fathom everything in your time.
There's a time, there's a time,
Both for sowing and for reaping there's a time.
Time for losing, time for gain, time for joy and time for pain,
Every purpose under heaven has a time.
There are times, there are days,
Weeks and months we cannot understand God's ways
If for years we fail to scan, what is his eternal plan,
We'll remember that He can all the time.
O deep in my heart, I do believe
we shall overcome some day.
We'll walk hand in hand (3) today.
We shall work and pray (3) today.
We shall live in peace (3) everyday.
We shall love each डर (3) everyday.
God will see us through (3) every day.
The world is full of joy (3) everyday.
And it comes right back to vou.
It's just like a magic penny,
Hold it tight and you won't get any
Lend it, spend it, give it away,
And it comes right back to you. (Joy, peace, smile)
When the storms of life are raging, stand by me. (2)
When the world is tossing me,
like a ship upon the sea
Thou who rulest wind and water, stand by me.
In the midst of tribulation, stand by me. (2)
When the hosts of hell assail,
when my strength begins to fail,
Thou who never lost a battle, stand by me.
In the midst of faults and failures, stand by me.(2)
When I do the best I can,
when my friends misunderstand,
Thou who knowest all about me, stand by me.
When I'm growing old and feeble , stand by me. (2)
When my life becomes a burden,
when I'm nearing chilly Jordan
O Thou Lily of the valley, Stand by me.
